Looking into an amazing substance

 

Cashmere is one of the most sought after fibers on the planet. What’s really amazing is that it’s been this way since it was first created. It takes something really special to maintain popularity for that long. But to not only stay popular, but at the very height of popularity is something else entirely. And most people are well aware of the fact that it’s an important resource. Tell anyone that there’s cashmere inside a present and their eyes will light up. People know that cashmere is amazing. And they’ll usually know it’s beautiful and cozy. But they almost certainly won’t know why. And that’s in large part because it’s so well appreciated. It’s so self apparent that cashmere is amazing that people seldom have a chance to take a step back and ask more about it. But it’s worth doing so, because one comes away from it with a higher level of appreciation.

 

It comes back to an amazing place and an amazing animal

 

It all comes back to the Hircus goat. This animal lives in the heights of Tibet’s amazing mountain ranges. It might not seem like a hospitable environment. And to be sure, that’s not an easy place for humans to live. And it’s even harder to imagine relaxing in such a climate. But the goats are somehow able to do so. And the secret to this ability to adapt to a harsh climate is all down to their fantastic coats. And that’s where cashmere comes in. People are able to cultivate their coats. Obviously without harm to the animal. And from there they can make it into clothing that offers a similar level of comfort and adaptability.
